Why Should You Outsource?

We can serve as your accounting staff or advise when needed because we understand the pain points faced by your organization:

  • Recruiting and retaining competent accounting staff
  • Turnover and constant training resulting in lost time and resources
  • Institutional knowledge can be lost
  • Technology investment demands grow
  • Administrative management of financial operations
  • Currency of continuing professional education and certification

We offer professionals, including CPAs, who have been where you are and understand the unique landscape of operating in Alaska. We act as your partner, helping your organization with the day-to-day accounting to strategic planning because your success is our success.

What are Assessment Services?

Understanding where your organization is at.

Looking to expand your operations but your financial statements are not up to par to obtain financing? Is it taking too long to pay your vendors? You might need an assessment.

An assessment is where our firm reviews your accounting records, processes, and policies and makes recommendations for improvement. This one-time project provides you with information that you can use to implement changes, or you can engage with us to provide recurring accounting assistance.

An assessment involves three phases: discovery, findings, and recommendations.

During the course of an assessment, we interview key individuals to gain an understanding about the organization and the accounting environment. We use tools to assess the health of key areas such as accounts payable, accountings receivable, payroll, and general ledger.
