Anchorage, Alaska- Altman, Rogers & Co. today announced it is the recipient of a 2018 Best of Alaska Business Award for Place to Work (1-250 Employees) as voted by Alaska Business magazine readers.
To determine the 2018 Best of Alaska Business Award winners, readers voted in an online survey that ran from February through April on the Alaska Business website. Readers were also invited to vote on the magazine’s Facebook and Twitter pages, in the Alaska Business digital edition, and through email. Altman, Rogers & Co. was voted as the Denali winner in Place to Work (1-250 Employees).
“This award would not be possible without our amazing staff,” says Altman, Rogers & Co. CEO Grant Todd. “Our staff go above and beyond every day to help make our firm such a success and that attitude is contagious. We are constantly looking for ways to improve employee morale and this award is a validation of those efforts. If our staff are happy, our clients are happy, and that atmosphere has led to tremendous growth of the past couple years. We recently purchased another CPA firm, Daniel, Hewko and Tharp, P.C. in order to better diversity our services and that has also had a large impact on employee morale. Altman, Rogers & Co. was founded in 1991 by Tim Altman and Karen Rogers. The firm currently has almost 50 staff spread across its Anchorage, Juneau, and Soldotna offices.
