Anchorage, Alaska- Altman, Rogers & Co. has earned the Fundamentals of Client Accounting and Advisory Services Certificate through the AICPA and CIMA. The certification enhances the level of client accounting and advisory services that will be offered to clients.

The certificate was earned through a 4 1/2 day workshop and a self-study course attended by the firm’s CAS Manager, Heather Savery. The workshop included a group of twenty accounting professionals throughout the country, representing small firms to regional firms. “It was a great opportunity to hear about the various successes and challenges faced by other firms that are at various stages in having a CAAS department, from startup to going to the next level of service offerings. The brainstorming and feedback is invaluable to how we evolve our department in the near future,” says Heather Savery, PAFM.
